Abstract:
A wave generator (5) of a wave gearing (1) includes a plug (11) and a roller bearing (13). The roller bearing (13) is provided with flange plates (19) fixed to both sides of the plug (11), and the outer circumferential edges (19a) are located on both sides, in an axial line direction (1a), of the trajectory (16) of rollers (17) and protrude outwardly from a plug outer circumferential surface (12). The movement of the rollers (17) in the axial line direction (1a) is constrained by the outer circumferential edges (19a). A retainer (18) is engaged with the rollers (17), and the movement of the retainer (18) in the axial line direction (1a) is constrained. The movement of each component of the roller bearing (13) in the axial line direction can be constrained without using any additional component.
