Abstract:
This wave power generation system comprises a wave-receiving member, a ram cylinder-type hydraulic pump device, a changing value sensor, an accumulator device, a hydraulic motor, an electric generator, and a control device. The wave-receiving member is installed in the periphery of a virtual reflective surface that reflects upcoming incident waves. The control device sets a torque command for when the electric generator generates electricity, and on the basis of a derivative value of a changing value that changes according to an amount of fluctuation in the wave-receiving member detected by the changing value sensor, determines whether the wave-receiving member is fluctuating due to force one way in a fluctuation direction or the other way in the fluctuation direction. Upon determining that the wave-receiving member is fluctuating the other way in the fluctuation direction due to receiving the force of the reflected waves reflected by the virtual reflection surface, the control device changes the torque command in relation to a case of determining that the wave-receiving member is receiving the force of the incident waves and fluctuating the one way in the fluctuation direction.
