A wave power unit suitable for large-scale application and a system thereof. The wave power unit at least comprises two above-water floating platforms which dynamically differ under the influence of waves: a stationary floating platform (1) and a movable floating platform (2), the two floating platforms form a functional combination, and the difference between the two floating platforms affected by waves causes interactions between the two floating platforms. The movable floating platform (2) converts wave energy into mechanical energy, and the stationary floating platform (1) converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The dynamic features of the floating platforms are adjusted by means of a floating control device (10) or a peripheral lifting device (14), and the adjustment function is strengthened by means of a large mass flywheel (12). A plurality of wave power units constitutes a wave power system. The wave power system has a variety of beneficial mechanisms to deal with environmental and climate changes, and has features such as wide applicable areas and convenient installation, and has a capability of stable high power electricity output.
