A waveguide connection structure that has: a rod-shaped dielectric 11; and an outer conductor 12 formed by braiding a plurality of flat foil threads that are conductive, into a plaited cord around the dielectric 11. A three-dimensional component 30 has: a connection face 33 having, in at least part thereof, a conductive area to which a connection expansion section 22 of the outer conductor 12 is connected; an insertion hole 31 that is conductive across the entire inner circumferential surface thereof; and an angular section 32 that is the opening edge that extends along the entire circumference of the insertion hole 31, in the connection face 33, and is conductive to the inner surface of the insertion hole 31. When the waveguide and the three-dimensional component 30 are connected, the connection expansion section 22 is: electrically conductive to the inner surface of the insertion hole 31 by being electrically connected to the connection face 33 and the angular section 32; and is configured so as to make the connection in the angular section 32 smooth.
