Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of suppressing light interference between a plurality of waveguides and providing waveguides at high density. To solve the problem, the present invention has: a plurality of light-transmitting cores (104); a clad (106) that surrounds the plurality of cores (104) and has a smaller light refractive index than the cores (104); and a transmission suppression member (108) that is positioned between two cores adjacent to each other among the plurality of cores (104) and that suppresses the transmission of light leaking from the cores.
