Abstract:
This wavelength adaptor comprises: a first conversion unit; a first filter; a second conversion unit; and a second filter. The first conversion unit converts first signal light into second signal light having a wavelength, which is not included in a target wavelength band, by means of first pump light while maintaining the phase relationship of the first signal light. The first filter shuts off the first signal light and the first pump light, but transmits the second signal light. The second conversion unit converts the second signal light transmitted through the first filter into third signal light having a wavelength, which is within the target wavelength band, by means of second pump light while maintaining the phase relationship of the second signal light. The second filter shuts off the second signal light and the second pump light, but transmits the third signal light.
