Abstract:
A wavelength control heater (10) is provided with: a heater main body (16) that has a filament (12); a filter tube (18); a first outer tube (22); and a second outer tube (24). The filter tube (18) has the characteristics of the infrared transmittance thereof increasing if the temperature is lower than a prescribed threshold value and the infrared transmittance thereof decreasing if the temperature is greater than the threshold value. A controller (60) adjusts the flow rate of a refrigerant supplied to first through third flow paths (31 - 33) such that the temperature of the filter tube (18) is lower than the threshold value when near infrared rays are set for the type of infrared rays and adjusts the flow rate of the refrigerant supplied to the first through third flow paths (31 - 33) such that the temperature of the filter tube (18) is higher than the threshold value and the filter tube (18) becomes a radiant source of far infrared rays when far infrared rays are set as the type of infrared rays.
