Abstract:
This wavelength conversion member 1 is equipped with a substrate 10, a wavelength conversion body 30 provided to the top surface side of the substrate 10 and comprising fluorescent particles 40 that are excited by excitation light 60 and a binder layer 50 that fixes or adheres together adjacent fluorescent particles 40, and a light-reflecting film 20 provided to at least a portion of the interface between the substrate 10 and the wavelength conversion body 30 and reflecting the fluorescent light 70 emitted by the fluorescent particles 40, the refractive index of the fluorescent particles 40 being higher than the refractive index of the binder layer 50.
