Abstract:
Provided is a wavelength converting device, comprising at least one moving device including the followings: A. a crystal holder that holds a non-linear crystal for converting the wavelength of incident laser beam and emitting the resultant laser beam; and B. a driving unit that includes a voice coil motor and moves the crystal holder at least in a direction perpendicular to a first direction which is an optical path axis direction of the laser beam. The driving unit rotates the crystal holder to change the angle of incidence of the laser beam on the non-linear crystal. The driving unit includes the followings: a two-dimensional driving unit constituted by including a planar voice coil motor; and a one-dimensional driving unit constituted by including a cylindrical voice coil motor. The two-dimensional driving unit performs linear driving in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and rotation driving around a third direction perpendicular to the first and the second directions. The one-dimensional driving unit performs linear driving in the third direction.
