Abstract:
A wavelength locking method and a laser, used for implementing a wavelength locking function without using a high-molecular polymer with a negative thermo-optical coefficient. The wavelength locking method comprises: a laser obtains a target wavelength aligned with a reference point as an output wavelength (601), the reference point being a unique trough point corresponding to the target wavelength in a periodic frequency spectrum of a wavelength locking standard component, and the periodic frequency spectrum is a frequency spectrum which may not be affected by changes of temperature; the laser determines an actual optical power difference by detecting the output wavelength (602); the laser determines whether the actual optical power difference is equal to a maximum optical power difference (603), the maximum optical power difference being a power value corresponding to the target wavelength; if not, the laser determines a wavelength offset according to the actual optical power difference and the maximum optical power difference (604), the wavelength offset being an offset value between an output wavelength affected by changes of temperature, and the target wavelength; the laser corrects the output wavelength to be the target wavelength according to the wavelength offset (605).
