Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a cross-connect setting unit (121A) for adjusting the intensity level per wavelength of an optical signal; an optical output level detection element (122A) for detecting the intensity level per wavelength of the optical signal outputted from the cross-connect setting unit (121A) as an optical output level; and a level control circuit unit (123A) for setting a first controlled variable for adjusting the intensity level per wavelength of the optical signal to the cross-connect setting unit (121A) for each wavelength so that the controlled variable is made smaller in correspondence to the backward distance to a position in a path at which the wavelength multiplexing device is placed, and causing the intensity level per wavelength of the optical signal to be adjusted with the first controlled variable by the cross-connect setting unit (121A), bringing the optical output level closer to an intended level.
