Abstract:

Provided is a wavelength-selective transparent glass article that transmits light of a specific wavelength region, which has the effect of suppressing myopia, that has low transmittance for UV rays of a shorter wavelength than the specific wavelength region, and that has an excellent heat-shielding property. Provided is a wavelength-selective transparent glass article that has a light transmittance Tmore than 315 nm to 400 nm or less of wavelengths from more than 315 nm to 400 nm or less of 1% or higher, that has a light transmittance R315 nm or less of wavelengths of 315 nm or less of 60% or higher, that has a solar radiation transmittance determined by JIS-R3106 (1998) of 65% or less, and that has a solar radiation acquisition rate of 0.70 or less.
