Abstract:
[Problem] To improve convenience in applying wax to a running surface of a ski, snowboard, etc. [Solution] The present invention is configured so as to at least have: an accommodation section 110 which accommodates a solid wax B; a heating section 120 which melts the wax B; a contact surface 130 which contacts a running surface; a discharge section 140 which discharges the wax B melted by the heating section 120; and a thickness adjustment section 150 which is provided, to the discharge section 140, behind a wax application device in the advancement direction thereof, and which adjusts the thickness of the wax B, on the running surface, discharged by the discharge section 140. The thickness adjustment section 150 can use a flexible plate 150 or a scraper 152.
