Abstract:
Disclosed are a wax injection molding device 10A and a casting method for an article using the same that can efficiently perform evacuation and/or wax injection, can shorten the work time of the device, and/or can improve wax model quality. The wax injection molding device 10A has a vacuum chamber 50, a nozzle 31 connected to the vacuum chamber 50, and a pressure sensor 51 for measuring pressure P of the vacuum chamber 50, and is capable of performing, via the nozzle 31, evacuation of a mold 3 using the vacuum chamber 50 and wax injection into the mold 3 after evacuation. A movement control means 60 controls the evacuation and/or wax injection on the basis of the pressure P of the vacuum chamber 50. In a preferred embodiment, the movement control means 60 controls the implementation time for evacuation and/or the wax injection on the basis of cavity volume Vg of the mold 3 calculated from the pressure P of the vacuum chamber 50.
