Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a wear measurement device and wear measurement method that make it possible to determine a value equivalent to the remaining diameter of a trolley wire having three wear surfaces. [Solution] Images I1, I2 photographed by first and second line sensor cameras 11, 12 disposed on the roof of a vehicle 10 are analyzed, and real coordinates P0 of the central point of a trolley wire are calculated from image I1. The height of the lowermost surface of the trolley wire 16 is determined on the basis of information acquired by a trolley-wire lowermost-surface-position measurement means. The real coordinates P0-P5 of boundary points p1-p5 are calculated using image I1 and the height of the lowermost surface of the trolley wire 16. The cross-sectional wear area S of the trolley wire 16, which has three wear surfaces, is calculated on the basis of the real coordinates P0-P5. On the basis of the cross-sectional wear area S of the three-wear-surface trolley wire 16, the remaining diameter of a horizontal-wear trolley wire 16A that has the same cross-sectional area as that of the three-wear-surface trolley wire 16 and only has a horizontal wear part 16a is calculated as a value H equivalent to the remaining diameter of the three-wear-surface trolley wire 16.
