Abstract:
This wear-resistant copper zinc alloy contains, in mass%, 28-55% of Zn and 0.5-2% of P, with the balance being made up of Cu and unavoidable impurities, while having a conductivity of 10-33% IACS and a hardness of 3.6[Zn] - 55 HBW or more, where [Zn] mass% is the content of Zn. Alternatively, this wear-resistant copper zinc alloy contains, in mass%, 40-55% of Zn and 1-6% of Mn, with the balance being made up of Cu and unavoidable impurities, while having a conductivity of 10-33% IACS and a hardness of 3.6[Zn] - 55 HBW or more, where [Zn] mass% is the content of Zn.
