Abstract:
Disclosed is a wearable device communication support apparatus and method. A wearable device communication support method may comprise the steps of: performing, by an authentication proxy terminal, a first mutual authentication between the authentication proxy terminal and a transport layer security (TLS) server, in association with an authentication request from a wearable device; when the first mutual authentication succeeds, performing, by the TLS server, a second mutual authentication between the TLS server and the wearable device; and when the second mutual authentication succeeds, providing, by the authentication proxy terminal, the wearable device with a second session key generated in relation to the second mutual authentication, and simultaneously, providing the second session key to an application server through the TLS server, so as to support data communication between the wearable device and the application server, on the basis of the second session key.
