Abstract:
Disclosed are a wearable device for providing different feedback according to the wearing state of the wearable device, and a control method therefor. The wearable device according to an embodiment of the present document comprises a plurality of cameras, at least one speaker, a display module, and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to: acquire, from a user, a speech command requesting the output of information about at least one external object; use a first camera among the plurality of cameras to determine, on the basis of the acquisition of the speech command, the wearing state of the user wearing the wearable device; when the wearing state of the user is determined as a first state, control the display module so that the information is output as a virtual object on the basis of an image of the external object acquired by using a second camera among the plurality of cameras; and, when the wearing state of the user is determined as a second state that is different from the first state, control the at least one speaker so that the information is output as speech information on the basis of an image of the external object acquired by using a third camera among the plurality of cameras.
