Abstract:
A wearable system gesture control method and a wearable system. When a position of the wearable system is changed, the wearable system can ensure a gesture working area continues to be within a viewing range of the wearable system, such that the wearable system can still acquire and identify gesture images and execute gesture control. In the method, the wearable system establishes a gesture working area and an area of interest, the area of interest comprising an image capture range of a first camera and the first camera being comprised within the wearable device (201); the wearable system acquires position parameters of itself (202); the wearable system adjusts the area of interest according to the position parameters, such that the area of interest encompasses the gesture working area (203); the wearable system acquires a gesture image from within the gesture working area (204); the wearable system identifies the gesture image so as to acquire a gesture command (205); and the wearable system executes the operation corresponding to the gesture command (206).
