Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a weather information processing device, weather radar system, and weather information processing method capable of inexpensively and quickly detecting a nimbus cloud and detecting the upward movement of the detected nimbus cloud in the atmosphere. [Solution] A nimbus cloud detection unit (23) detects the position and three-dimensional speed of a nimbus cloud on the basis of signals from at least three radars, that is, a first, second, and third radar, that are disposed at different positions. A nimbus cloud characteristic detection unit (26) detects the characteristics of the detected nimbus cloud on the basis of a signal from a radar that is different from the three radars or a signal from a radar from among the three radars.
