Abstract:

A shutter device has a pair of support frames (12) parallelly arranged, spaced at a predetermined distance apart, and also has a shutter (14) placed between the support frames (12). The support frames (12) support the left and right sides (14A) of the shutter (14) so as to allow the shutter (14) to reciprocate in its longitudinal direction. A weather strip (20) is placed between each side face at each side (14A) of the shutter (14) and a facing surface of the support frame (12), which facing surface faces the each side face. Each weather strip (20) has a long base member attached to each side frame (12), fluff raised on the base member, and a film member (23) provided on the base member. The film member (23) has higher rigidity than the fluff and the height of the film member (23) in the direction toward the facing surface of the support frame (12) is less than that of the fluff. The construction reduces sliding resistance of the shutter (14), and when the shutter (14) receives strong external force, it suppresses play of the shutter (14).
