Abstract:
The present invention relates to a weather strip of a vehicle, a stiffener for a weather strip of a vehicle, and a manufacturing method thereof. A stiffener for a weather strip of a vehicle comprises: a plurality of reinforcing bars which are formed in a long plate shape and are arranged in a row at a certain interval in the longer side direction; and at least one dam bar, formed integrally with the reinforcing bars, connecting the plurality of reinforcing bars in the longer side direction, wherein a V-shaped curve is formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the reinforcing bars and the dam bar. Due to this structure, the present invention can maintain the same stiffness with a thinner thickness compared to a stiffener in which a V-shaped curve is not formed, so that the weight of a stiffener is reduced and as a result, the weight of the weather strip, in which the stiffener is embedded, can be reduced.
