Abstract:
A weather strip (17) comprises a hollow seal portion (22) which can be compressed and deformed by coming into contact with a door (18) when the door (18) is closed, and an attachment portion (21) for attaching the hollow seal portion (22) to a peripheral edge of an opening portion (14) of a vehicle body (11). The hollow seal portion (22) comprises: a head portion side wall portion (31) located on the opposite side to the attachment portion (21); and a curved portion (32) which adjoins both sides of the head portion side wall portion (31) and which is formed to be easier to bend than another part of the hollow seal portion (22). A projecting portion (33) that projects from an inner wall surface of the head portion side wall portion (31) is formed within the hollow seal portion (22) from the same material as the hollow seal portion (22), and the projecting portion (33) is formed in such a way that a tip end of the projecting portion (33) does not abut the inner wall surface of the hollow seal portion (22) when the hollow seal portion (22) is in a compressed and deformed state when the door (18) is closed.
