Abstract:
The present invention prevents the occurrence of uneven coating caused by flapping of a web or defects such as curvature or slackness in said web, while preventing the occurrence of uneven streaky coating, and enables uniform thin-film coating. The present invention is a device that coats the surface of a moving web (12) with a prescribed coating liquid discharged from a slit-shaped discharge port (15) in a coating liquid supply means (14) that extends in the width direction of the web. In addition to the positioning of the slit-shaped discharge port (15) on the mid-air path of the web (12), an impelling means (20) that impels the web (12) with a uniform pressing force in the web width direction facing the slit-shaped discharge port (15) is disposed at a position facing the slit-shaped discharge port (15), with the web (12) positioned therebetween.
