Abstract:
The invention relates to a web machine (1) with a device for forming additional weft effects (3), comprising multiple guide needles (4) and multiple needle guides (5), in each of which a guide needle (4) is mounted in a vertically movable manner. Furthermore, a slide (6) is provided which is connected to at least one of the needle guides (5), and a slide drive (7) is provided by means of which the slide (6) can be driven in the weft direction (8). The device further has a shedding device (9) and multiple cords (10) which can be driven vertically by the shedding device (9). The cords (10) are connected to the guide needles (4) such that the guide needles (4) can be raised by the cords (10). The invention is characterized in that each guide needle (4) is connected to a respective cord (10).
