Abstract:
This webbing winding device (10) includes a webbing (12), a spool (14), a locking portion (16), and a rotation restricting nut (36). The webbing winding device (10) further includes a torsion shaft (34) which has a part coupled to the spool (14) and also has a part coupled to the locking portion (16). Further, the torsion shaft (34) and the locking portion (16) are coupled to the one-side end of the spool (14) in the axial direction across a range from the one side of the spool (14) in the axial direction to the other side thereof. Still further, with the rotation of the spool (14) relative to the locking portion (16) being restricted by the rotation restricting nut (36), when the webbing (12) is pulled in the draw-out direction, a load transmitted from the webbing (12) to the locking portion (16) via the spool (14) and the rotation restricting nut (36) is received by a second serration portion (34B) of the torsion shaft (34).
