Abstract:
In this webbing winding device, when webbing is withdrawn from a spool by an occupant to mount the webbing on the occupant, if the rotational-angular acceleration of the spool in the withdrawal direction is at least a specific withdrawal-angular acceleration, a motor drives the spool to rotate in an winding direction, and the rotational-angular acceleration of the spool in the withdrawal direction is reduced. Therefore, the present invention can prevent a lock mechanism from locking the rotation of the spool in the withdrawal direction.
