Disclosed is a weighing device which has a relatively simple structure and which minimizes convection in the weighing chamber when the door of the weighing chamber is opened and closed. The disclosed weighing device is configured so as to partition a weighing space (5) into an upper and a lower space by a partition board (4), forming in the lower part a weighing chamber (7) of capacity less than that of the weighing space (5), so that even if convection occurs in the weighing chamber, said convection will converge quickly. In addition to this, suspension walls (9a, 9b) are attached along the opening and closing direction of the doors (10a, 10b) to the edges of the partition board (4) which is in contact with said doors (10a, 10b). Even when the doors (10a, 10b) are opened, the suspension walls (9a, 9b) limit or block the layer of warm air retained in the upper space of the measuring chamber (7) from the flowing out of the measuring chamber (7), and as a result, convection either does not occur in the measuring chamber (7), or, if convection does occur, said convection will be slight, converge quickly, and not affect measuring operations. Also, the upper space can be used for other purposes, e.g., as a charge neutralization chamber.
