Abstract:
This weighing device has an increased measurable weight range and prevents reduction in measurement accuracy by keeping load cell capacity down. The weighing device (1) is for measuring the weight of an object to be weighed and comprises a placement base (12) upon which the object to be weighed is placed and a plurality of load cells (13) for detecting the load of the object to be weighed placed on the placement base (12). The plurality of load cells (13) comprise at least a pair of front end load cells (31a, 31b) disposed at a front end, a pair of rear end load cells (32a, 32b) disposed at a rear end, and a pair of central load cells (33a, 33b) disposed between the front end load cells (31a, 31b) and rear end load cells (32a, 32b). The pair of central load cells (33a, 33b) are disposed at positions further removed from the object to be weighed placed on the placement base (12) than the front end load cells (31a, 31b) and rear end load cells (32a, 32b).
