Abstract:
This weighing and packaging system (1) is provided with: a weighing unit (2) that weighs and successively discharges articles (A); a discharge chute (3) which is disposed below the weighing unit (2) and through which the articles (A) discharged from the weighing unit (2) pass; a foreign matter detecting unit (4) that detects foreign matter (M) included in the articles (A) that are passing through the discharge chute (3); a memory unit (11) that stores quality information pertaining to the quality of the articles (A) based on the detection results of the foreign matter detecting unit (4); and a control unit (10) that controls the memory unit (11). When foreign matter is detected by the foreign matter detecting unit (4) in an Nth (where N is an integer of 2 or more) article (A3) that has been discharged from the weighing unit (2), the control unit (10) forcibly stores, in the memory unit (11), the quality information of an N-1th article (A2) discharged from the weighing unit as poor quality.
