Abstract:
A weight management system having a processor, a storage device accessed by the processor, a plurality of containers, a weight meter for measuring the weight of the plurality of containers, and an incoming/outgoing determination unit for determining whether an article is stored in or taken out of each of the plurality of containers, wherein the storage device retains operation instruction information indicating the weight of an article as the subject of storage in and taking out for each container, the processor acquires a result of determination by the incoming/outgoing determination unit as to whether an article is stored in or taken out of a container, and the amount of change in the weight of the plurality of containers measured by the weight meter, and determines whether the weight of an article as the object for storage in or taking out of a container for which it is determined that an article was stored in or taken out of the container matches the amount of change in the weight of the plurality of containers measured by the weight meter, and outputs the result of the determination.
