Abstract:
A weld fitting (1) comprises a fitting body (10). The fitting body (10) has an end (12) in the axial direction of the fitting body (10). The end (12) is welded to an end of another weld fitting (1) by being melted by a heater. Positioning marks (13) at equal intervals in the circumferential direction along the outer circumference of the fitting body (10) are present on a section on the side opposite the end (12) with respect to an outer circumferential section of the fitting body (10) that is held in a clamping unit, said outer circumferential section, of the fitting body (10), not being held in a clamping unit. The weld fitting (1) is welded to another weld fitting (1) by matching the positioning marks (13) to reference marks provided on the clamping unit.
