Abstract:
A welded retainer comprising a pair of ring parts (11, 11) and a plurality of columns that connect between the pair of ring parts, wherein the ring parts each comprise a fusion joint (13) at which a metal material having a length equal to the entire circumference of the ring part is rounded and both ends of the metal material joined by fusing, the welded retainer being characterized in that the circumferential dimension of the fusion joint (13) gradually increases from a portion on the radially innermost side of said fusion joint (13) up to a portion on the radially outermost side via a radially intermediate portion.
