Abstract:
A pair of annular parts (30) of this welded retainer for a roller bearing includes, on a wall surface (31) of a pocket located inside in the axial direction, a reference surface (32) and a protrusion part (33) protruding from the reference surface inward in the axial direction. The protrusion part is a welding mark provided on a butt-welded part. Assuming that the dimension of the roller in the axial direction is A and the dimension of the pocket in the axial direction is B, the protrusion dimension C of the protrusion part from the reference surface inward in the axial direction is smaller than (B − A) × 1/2.
