Abstract:
This device (140) assists the setting of a welding condition when performing arc welding by applying a voltage between a workpiece (170) and an electrode (160) to generate an arc (A) therebetween, the device being provided with: an image processing unit (141b) that performs: a sputter detection process for specifying, as specific pixels, the pixels each having a pixel value, indicating brightness and exceeding a predetermined threshold, from a captured input image of the workpiece (170) during the arc welding, and for detecting, from the specific pixels, sputters (SP) composed of a plurality of successive pixels; and a sputter number specifying process for specifying the number of sputters (SP) detected by the sputter detection process.
