Abstract:
Positional shifting and damage of multiple sheet-shaped members is limited: by vibrating a horn (35) at a low frequency with a previously established low frequency vibration period when the various sheet-shaped members (S) are pressed and clamped in a pressing direction (Z) by a pressing surface (35a) so that the various sheet-shaped members (S) are repeatedly pressed using the horn (35) during a specified pressure application period within individual low frequency vibration periods; and, while reliably moving the various sheet-shaped members (S) in a direction substantially orthogonal to the pressing direction (Z), by pressing the various sheet-shaped members (S) using the horn (35), which is small and has a pressing surface (35a) with an area smaller than the welding area, as the sheet-shaped members are being reliably moved in the direction substantially orthogonal to the horn (35) pressing direction (Z) to weld the sheet-shaped members over the entire welding area.
