Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce a work time for calibration of a relationship between pressing force and torque. A welding device 1 comprises: a means for prompting a user to input a command indicating that a pressing force between a movable electrode tip 35 and a fixed electrode tip 34 has reached each of two pressing forces; a means for identifying, when the command is input, a torque exerted by a servomotor 36 and an amount of movement of the movable electrode tip; a means for deriving a relational expression between the pressing force and the amount of movement; a means for estimating, using the relational expression, an amount of movement of the movable electrode tip required for generating another pressing force; and a means for identifying a torque required for the movable electrode tip to move by the estimated amount of movement, and registering the toque in association with the other pressing force.
