Abstract:

A welding device equipped with an annular housing (12) having opposing surfaces (13), (13) in the axial direction, and a welding head rotation gear (40) and first through third ring gears (50), (60), and (70) provided on the inside of the housing (12). Guiding surfaces (11a) which are continuous in the circumferential direction are formed on the opposing surfaces (13), (13). The welding head rotation gear (40) is coupled to a guide member (41), and the first through third ring gears (50), (60), and (70) are supported by the welding head rotation gear (40) and the guide member (41). Rollers (R) provided on the guide member (41) roll along the guiding surfaces (11a), and the welding head rotation gear (40) and the first through third ring gears (50), (60), and (70) are supported so as to be capable of rotating with respect to the housing (12), so the welding device can be made more lightweight and compact than in the prior art.
