Abstract:
Disclosed is a welding joint which has been improved by means of further structural working so that, in a joint formed by a pipe-end and a tube end being fitted by means of insertion, bead formation and swelling to the inside caused by thermal welding are eliminated or suppressed as much as possible, and excellent welding integration is possible without bringing about fluid passage resistance. Further disclosed is a welding method for the joint. A composite resin welding joint has a pipe end (2T) wherein the end (1T) of a composite resin tube (1) is fitted by means of insertion, and is configured so that welding is possible between the pipe end (2T) and the tube end (1T) fitted by means of insertion into the pipe end, by means of the heating of a heating means (4) which surrounds the outside of the pipe end (2T). The joint is provided with a composite resin holder (3) which is mounted to the outside of the pipe end (2T) and which has an integrally formed flange (12) for ensuring there is an expansion interval (S) in the radial direction between the holder and the heating means (4).
