Abstract:
The present invention can control the generation of spatter even if a large current flows in a wire, in a case where arc welding is carried out by periodically repeating forward feed and reverse feed of the tip of a wire which is a consumable electrode. A consumable electrode-type arc-welding power source supplies a welding current to a wire which is a consumable electrode, the power source including a control means for changing the welding current in accordance with the tip position of the wire which varies periodically, in a case where the tip of the wire is fed towards a base material while a forward feed period and a reverse feed period of the tip are periodically repeated.
