Abstract:
A welding system based on an industrial robot, and a welding method therefor. The welding system comprises a clamping assembly, moving assemblies, and a lifting assembly, wherein a first power module in the clamping assembly drives a sliding mechanism to move, and then a clamping member (4) and the moving assemblies, which are connected to the sliding mechanism, are driven to move; the moving assemblies are symmetrically arranged, the motion of the moving assemblies drives a first rotating member (3) to rotate at the same time, and the symmetrically arranged moving assemblies then move by an equal distance, such that a workpiece (2) is centered and positioned; and a second power module in the lifting assembly drives a second rotating member to rotate and then drives a first transmission member to rotate and vertically move, and a chassis (1) connected to the first transmission member is then driven to rotate and vertically move at the same time, such that the workpiece (2) rotates and moves vertically, thereby achieving the arc welding of a welding machine.
