Abstract:
Disclosed is a welding tip inspection method for closely inspecting whether a welding tip used for a robot welder is reusable, by dressing the welding tip by using dressing equipment. The welding tip inspection method of the present invention comprises the steps of: determining whether the number of times that welding has been performed satisfies a set value; dressing the welding tip when the number of times that welding has been performed satisfies the set value; inspecting the dressed welding tip by using vision inspection equipment, so as to determine whether vision inspection conditions are satisfied; and classifying the welding tip as an available state when the vision inspection conditions are satisfied, wherein the vision inspection conditions are the state conditions of the length of the welding tip and the front end portion of the welding tip, and the state condition of the front end portion of the welding tip is at least one of the conditions of the mill scale of the welding tip, the diameter of the front end portion of the welding tip, and the incline of the front end portion of the welding tip.
