Abstract:
A welding torch 10 is provided with: a torch body 12 connected to a torch handle 11; a nozzle 14 connected to the torch body 12 and comprising an insulating material; a torch cap 13 connected to the torch body 12 on the side opposite the nozzle; and a tungsten electrode 15 that is housed within the welding torch 10 and that generates an arc between the tungsten electrode 15 and a workpiece 200 as a result of being supplied with prescribed power from a power source 40. This welding torch 10 is further provided with a connection component 19 that electrically connects: an earth terminal 41 of the power source 40a; and conductive ring 16 that is attached to the outer periphery of the nozzle 14 so as to be in contact therewith.
