Abstract:
In this well plate (1), which is provided with a plate body (2) and a well (3), insertion of a target object is carried out by means of a tip that carries out suction and discharge of the target object. The well (3) includes: an opening (31) that is provided on a first surface (21) of the plate body (2) and allows entry of the tip; a bottom portion (32) that is located inside the plate body (2); and a cylindrical wall surface (33) that extends downward from the opening (31) toward the bottom portion (32). The plate body (2) is provided with: a first member (23) in which an upper portion of the well (3) is formed and which has good thermal conductivity and is non-transparent; and a transparent second member (24) in which a lower portion, which includes a portion constituting at least the bottom portion (32) of the well (3), is formed. The bottom surface of the first member (23) and the top surface of the second member (24) are joined with the upper portion and lower portion of the well (3) in an aligned state.
