Title:
WET SCRUBBER FOR SHIP, AND COMPOSITE CLEANING WATER SPRAY SYSTEM INSIDE ABSORPTION TOWER, INCLUDING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/050477
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wet scrubber system for a ship, and to a wet scrubber for a ship and a composite cleaning water spray system inside an absorption tower, including same, the wet scrubber comprising: an absorption tower having, at the lower part thereof, a suction port through which flue gas is suctioned, having, at the upper part thereof, a discharge port through which the flue gas, from which pollutants have been treated to be absorbed, is discharged after the pollutants included in the flue gas are treated to be absorbed, and having a space in which a cleaning water spray nozzle and packing are provided; a first filler and a second filler, which are provided inside the absorption tower with a vertical gap therebetween so as to sequentially absorb sulfur compounds included in the flue gas passing through the absorption tower; a supply line including a plurality of spray nozzles and a supply pump such that a pipe is connected to the absorption tower so as to enable cleaning water to be supplied/sprayed into the absorption tower; and an inflow prevention part which is provided inside the absorption tower so as to be spaced from the upper part of the suction port, and which is formed in a conical shape having a center upwardly inclined toward the discharge port, so as to prevent the inflow of the cleaning water into the flue gas suction port, wherein the supply line is divided into: a first spray nozzle module having a plurality of spray nozzles, which are connected to a pipe positioned at the upper part of the first packing, so as to spray the cleaning water toward the second packing; a second spray nozzle module having a plurality of spray nozzles, which are connected to two upper and lower rows of pipes positioned at the upper part of the second packing, so as to upwardly spray the cleaning water toward a gas-liquid separator; and a third spray nozzle module having a plurality of spray nozzles, which are connected to a pipe positioned at the upper part of the second packing, so as to downwardly spray the cleaning water toward the second packing, and thus the present invention can drastically increase the contact time and contact opportunity of the flue gas suctioned into the absorption tower and the cleaning water sprayed in the absorption tower, so as to effectively remove sulfur oxides contained in the flue gas, which is suctioned into the absorption tower, of a main engine, a power generator, and a boiler, thereby enabling installation costs and operating costs of the system to be reduced.
