Abstract:
Disclosed is a wet-type air cleaner configured such that a water layer is stably maintained, generation of noise due to a water flow is suppressed, and a stored water tank can be separated and mounted with no concern of water leakage. The cleaner is a wet-type air cleaner comprising: a filter that receives water supplied from a supplied water tank, introduces outer air, and removes contaminants therefrom; and a stored water tank that stores water that is supplied to the filter, wherein: the filter comprises a longitudinal barrier that provides a channel configured such that water is attached thereto and flows along the same, and a transverse barrier that extends across the longitudinal barrier so as to form a plurality of water layer holes together with the longitudinal barrier; water in the water layer holes forms a water layer by a drawing force; the size of the water layer varies depending on the magnitude of the drawing force; and the stored water tank comprises a reservoir for storing water, a communication tube connected to the reservoir, an end of the communication tube being exposed to the outside of a case and fixed by a lever, and a guide for providing a path of movement such that the reservoir and the communication tube can be separated from and mounted on the case.
