Abstract:
Provided is a wheel bearing system with a generator that is capable of not only reducing costs with a simplified structure but also preventing electrolytic corrosion. A wheel bearing system (1) with a generator is provided with a wheel bearing (2) and a generator (3). The generator (3) has a stator (18) attached to a fixed wheel (4) and a motor rotor (19) attached to a rotating wheel (5), and is an outer rotor-type generator with the stator (18) located on an outer periphery of the wheel bearing (2) and the motor rotor (19) located radially outward of the stator (18). The wheel bearing system (1) with a generator is further provided with at least one energizing means (26) for energizing the fixed wheel (4) and the rotating wheel (5).
