Abstract:
A wheel condition determining device comprises an acceleration rate acquisition unit 122 that sequentially acquires axial acceleration rates of a vehicle in the direction of an axle, a wheel detachment indicator prediction unit 124 that determines there is an indicator that a wheel will detach when the acquired axial acceleration rate is greater than a predetermined determination threshold, and a travel state acquisition unit 123 that acquires the travel state of the vehicle. The wheel detachment indicator prediction unit 124 performs indicator determination for wheel detachment while the travel state is a first predetermined state, and halts indicator determination while the travel state is a second predetermined state different from the first predetermined state.
