Abstract:
A rotating electrical machine (311) is equipped with: a cylindrical rotor (320) that has a magnet unit (322) including a plurality of magnetic poles, the polarities thereof alternating in the circumferential direction; and a cylindrical stator (330) that has a multiphase stator winding (331). The rotor and the stator are disposed such that the magnet unit and the stator winding face one another in the inward/outward radial direction. A differential device is equipped with: a differential case (371) that rotates in association with the rotation of the rotor; side gears (373, 374) that are accommodated within the differential case, and are respectively coupled to a pair of axles; and a pinion gear (372) that is accommodated within the differential case, and meshes with the side gears. The differential device is disposed concentric with the rotor in a hollow portion provided radially inward of a magnetic circuit unit formed from the rotor and the stator in the rotating electrical machine.
