Abstract:
A wheel position identification system (50) comprising a transmitter (51) and a receiver (71) provided to each of two wheel assemblies (32, 35) of a wheel assembly set (31). Each transmitter (51) transmits a wireless signal including identification information when the transmitter (51) detects that the location of said transmitter (51) is at a specific position in the rotation direction of the wheel assembly (32, 35). The wireless signal transmitted when the transmitter (51) provided to an outer wheel assembly (32) detects the specific position is a first wireless signal. The wireless signal transmitted when the transmitter (51) provided to an inner wheel assembly (35) detects the specific position is a second wireless signal. A receiver control device (72) of the receiver (71) identifies whether each of the transmitters (51) is provided on the outer wheel assembly (32) or the inner wheel assembly (35) from the reception interval between the first wireless signal and the second wireless signal.
